Our client is a well-established financial institution is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager to lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the stability, scalability, and resilience of enterprise systems, with a strong emphasis on governance, cost control, and operational excellence. This role will start with an initial 12-month contract with potential renewal.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Develop and execute infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers and support staff.
- Lead capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of servers, storage, networks, and cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and access controls.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
- Develop and manage infrastructure budgets and procurement processes.
- Work with IT teams to improve data infrastructure and pipelines.
Requirements of the Role
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 2 years in a leadership.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese
