We are seeking a seasoned professional to be based in Hong Kong, to manage the full M&A process and corporate finance transactions. This role demands strong project management skills, working knowledge in listing rules, financial expertise, and strategic insight to identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate will excel in due diligence, and deal structuring, and will be adept at managing stakeholder communications, presenting investment cases internally, and negotiating with external parties to drive successful transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end deal execution, including due diligence, valuation, deal structuring, post-acquisition integration plan, transaction document negotiation & drafting and closing
- Lead both internal and external parties for effective communication with regulatory authorities
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis for prospective M&A opportunities, including conducting market research, performing fundamental analysis and constructing financial models
- Independently manage internal approval and reporting processes by drafting investment memo/investment analysis reports, communicating with & managing internal stakeholders, presenting to management team and following upon comments
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or above in accounting, finance, law, business or related discipline
- Possess professional qualifications such as CPA is preferred
- 8+ years experiences in strategic investments, investment banking, corporate finance advisory, VC, private equity industry and/or regulatory bodies
- Demonstrated successes in executing variety of M&A types, including but not limited to, major transaction, VSA and/or JV set-up
- Solid experience in corporate finance transactions (including IPOs, placing, subscription and other fundraising activities)
- Excellent knowledge in listing rules in Hong Kong and other key global financial centers
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Sector expertise in Web 3, Web 2 or internet / tech industry preferred
- Strong research, financial modelling and presentation skills
- Proficient in written & spoken English and Mandarin
