- An expanding securities firm is seeking a seasoned Head of Operations to lead their operations department in Hong Kong. This strategic role is critical to ensuring the smooth settlement of securities and the successful launch of new business initiatives.
Your new role
- Lead and manage end-to-end securities settlement operations across FX/MM, US & HK equities, and bonds.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational transformation projects to support business growth.
- Oversee the firm's risk function by reviewing and enhancing risk protocols to ensure compliance with internal policies.
- Collaborate closely with trading, compliance, IT, and product teams to support new product launches and scale operations effectively.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in securities operations, especially settlement across FX/MM, equities, and fixed income.
- Strong track record in project management and process improvement within financial services.
- Deep understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English preferred.
