  • A reputable Regional Bank in HK is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager/Senior Manager in Operations Process Re-engineering to join their team in Hong Kong. This pivotal role will drive strategic transformation initiatives across their Hong Kong and Mainland China operations hubs, enhancing efficiency, compliance, and cross-border collaboration.


Your new role
  • Lead and execute process re-engineering projects across HK and China-based operations teams.
  • Act as a key liaison between regional hubs to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Analyse existing workflows and identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and optimisation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to implement best practices and operational improvements.
  • Ensure all redesigned processes meet regulatory standards and internal compliance requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in KYC (Know Your Customer) and/or settlement operations to guide project direction and execution.
  • Support and manage offshoring initiatives, including transition planning, knowledge transfer, and performance monitoring across offshore teams.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in banking operations related to KYC or Settlement, ideally with experience in process improvement or project management
  • Strong understanding of KYC procedures and/or settlement processes
  • Proven ability to manage cross-border projects and navigate cultural and regulatory differences
  • Experience in offshoring project management, including vendor coordination and service level oversight
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for driving operational excellence
