Overview We are currently seeking an experienced coverage banker to join our team as Greater China Team head to onboard PRC FI clients by delivering index solutions.
Your New Role: - Develop a deep understanding of growth opportunities across diverse client segments-including investment banks, asset managers, asset owners, and information vendors within the Greater China region.
- Drive revenue growth through targeted upselling and cross-selling of index solutions.
- Partner with the Product Department to co-develop and present index proposals, lead negotiations, and secure commercial agreements.
- Stay informed on market dynamics, regulatory shifts, and competitive activity to identify emerging opportunities, shape client acquisition strategies, and cultivate new business relationships.
- Track business performance against key deliverables, regularly reviewing progress and adapting strategies in response to evolving market conditions.
- Gain comprehensive insights into client needs, challenges, and use cases to deliver tailored solutions that strengthen relationships and generate mutual value.
What you'll need to succeed: - University degree with proven experience in
in banking and financial industry, with a focus on institutional accounts or B2B sales, preferably with Index / equities - Proven track-record in achieving and exceeding business targets, demonstrating effectiveness in driving revenue growth
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua)
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
