About the job

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive candidate with proven experience in FICC trade support or Bank Asset/Liability management (ALM) experience; the candidate is preferred with strong analytical and communication skills, and background knowledge in currencies and interest rate.

Principal Responsibilities

    • The candidate will join our Liquidity Operation Team as part of investment department;
    • Handle all aspects related to daily investment operations, including cash management, portfolio rebalancing as necessary, trade reconciliation, portfolio change and order placing etc.;
    • Manage liquidity and interest rate risk and to ensure all key risk indicators are in compliance with internal limits;
    • Perform money market and FX transactions dynamically in accordance to firms asset-liability position;
    • Advise strategies to reduce the funding cost and increase the revenue from asset and liability management;
    • Analyze portfolio performance and risk periodically;
    • Coordinating between internal departments to resolve queries and issues related to operations support;
    • Demonstrate thought leadership by continuously enhancing processes and creating efficiencies, as well as contributing to strategic infrastructure development;
    • Participate in ad-hoc projects and carrying out any other duties and responsibility as assigned by management;
    • Candidate would enjoy all-rounded exposure on portfolio operation and cash management duties;
    • The company culture is relatively friendly and stable.

Qualifications/Skills Required

    • Bachelor degree holder or above from recognized university in Economics, Finance, Accounting or other relevant disciplines;
    • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in FICC trade related support and operations experience, preferably in Banks Treasury;
    • Proven ability to operate efficiently and accurately in a high pressure environment;
    • Strong analytical skills, highly motivated, diligent and team player;
    • Proficient in Excel, VBA macro and Bloomberg skills;
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (Chinese and English);
    • Immediately available is highly preferred.
