About the Role:
As an Equity Sales, you will be a key driver of the firm's equity sales strategy and business development efforts. With your deep market knowledge and strong client relationships, you will spearhead revenue generation initiatives, cultivate and expand the client base, and represent the firm at the highest levels. Collaborating closely with research, trading, product, and compliance teams, you will ensure a seamless client experience and maximize sales opportunities in a highly competitive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute comprehensive equity sales strategies to generate significant revenue growth.
- Build, nurture, and expand relationships with institutional investors, asset managers, and other key clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing market insights, equity research, and tailored investment ideas to sophisticated clients.
- Negotiate deal terms and coordinate with internal teams to facilitate smooth transactional processes.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate untapped client segments.
- Maintain up-to-date market intelligence and competitor awareness to stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory developments.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, roadshows, and client events, enhancing the firms brand presence.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 4-10 years of equity sales experience at top-tier Chinese or international securities firms, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong institutional client relationships.
- Excellent knowledge of China and Hong Kong equity markets, capital markets products, and regulatory environment.
- Strategic thinker with excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related disciplines from a reputable institution.
