We are partnering with a leading asset management firm with a strong presence in Greater China to recruit a Head of Marketing based in Hong Kong.
The Head of Marketing will spearhead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and drive growth across a broad suite of investment products, including mutual funds, fixed income, multi-asset solutions, and ETFs. This role requires a dynamic marketer who can effectively position complex products to both institutional and retail clients while leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement marketing strategies that promote a diverse range of investment products such as mutual funds, fixed income, ETFs, and multi-asset portfolios across Greater China
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns — digital, content, events, and brand activations — to increase product awareness and support business goals
- Collaborate closely with product specialists, sales, and distribution teams to align marketing initiatives with client needs and market trends
- Monitor competitor activity and investor insights to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth
- Oversee marketing budgets and agency partnerships to ensure efficient resource use and maximum ROI
- Ensure all marketing communications comply with regulatory standards and internal policies
Requirements:
- Significant senior marketing experience within asset management or financial services, with knowledge spanning ETFs, mutual funds, fixed income, and multi-asset products in Greater China
- Strong understanding of investor needs across retail and institutional segments
- Strategic mindset with a proven ability to deliver impactful campaigns that drive measurable business results
- Effective leadership skills to develop and inspire a marketing team
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred; Cantonese skills are an advantage
