  • A reputable sell side is seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Collateral Services to lead their collateral management function across equities, derivatives, and FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies) products. This is a pivotal leadership role within their firm, offering the opportunity to shape and enhance the collateral strategy in a fast-paced, regional market environment.

Your new role
  • Oversee end-to-end collateral management operations across multiple asset classes, including equities, listed and OTC derivatives, and FICC products.
  • Ensure robust collateral optimisation, margining, and risk mitigation practices in line with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of up to 5 professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with trading, risk, operations, and legal teams to support business growth and operational excellence.
  • Drive process enhancements and technology initiatives to improve efficiency and control.

What you'll need to succeed
  • 12+ years of experience in collateral management or related functions within capital markets, with 4+ years of experience in people management.
  • Strong product knowledge of OTC derivatives and a solid understanding of margining frameworks (e.g., ISDA CSA, SIMM, CCP margining).
  • Proven people management experience, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Familiarity with collateral platforms and tools (e.g., TriOptima, AcadiaSoft, Murex) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
