We're looking for a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to support one of our largest in-house clients.
Your new role
- Implement database encryption to protect sensitive data
- Manage real-time data replication across Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL using Oracle GoldenGate
- Configure and maintain Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and FarSync for HA and DR setups
- Conduct performance testing in UAT environments and optimise database tuning
- Collaborate with developers on data migration, integration, and quality checks
- Support data development initiatives such as data modelling and ETL processes
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
- Strong expertise in Oracle RAC installation, configuration, management, and troubleshooting for high availability
- Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle Data Guard and FarSync environments for disaster recovery
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate for real-time data replication across heterogeneous databases (Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL)
- Proficiency in Linux administration, Shell scripting (Python/Bash), PL/SQL, and SQL
- Familiarity with MSSQL, MariaDB, and other relational databases is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese
