Assistant Vice President/ Vice President, Middle Office

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate order placement and allocation for investment transactions.
• Monitor portfolio mandate restrictions to ensure compliance with investment guidelines.
• Conduct cash monitoring to maintain optimal liquidity levels.
• Review fair allocation processes to ensure equitable distribution among clients.
• Assist in investment risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Support the setup of new funds and the evaluation of new investment products.
• Participate in client due diligence meetings and address inquiries effectively.
• Liaise with brokers/custodians/administrators/Prime Brokers in fund management workflow.
• Work closely with Compliance Team, Fund Administration Team and Centralized Dealing Team.

Job Requirement:

• University graduate in related discipline
• 5 years of experience in Middle Office.
• Detail oriented, with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and issues in a time pressured environment.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Knowledge on Bloomberg, Charles River, Riskmetrics is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to details and able to handle multiple tasks/priorities.
