Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager – Finance & Operations to establish the financial operations and contribute to strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, operational efficiency, and motivated to grow organically within a family office. This position is based in the U.A.E region.

Key Responsibilities

1) Financial Management

  • Partner with the CFO to establish the Finance function from ground up, including the GL, systems, designing and implementing accounting process and policies, and vendor selections etc.
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting, month-end closing and reconciliations
  • Participate in analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards in accordance with IFRS
  • Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet operational needs and strategic investments

2) Investment Operations

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  • Participate in capital calls, distributions, trade execution, and onboarding
  • Collaborate with investment teams to assess performance and manage risks associated with the portfolio
  • Manage the onboarding of new investments into the Finance and Operation systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • Professional qualifier in CPA
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of stable experience in financial management from family offices, private equity, LPs, endowments, or similar environment
  • Experience in 0-1 set-up of a Finance function is a definite advantage
  • Strong understanding of financial principles including general ledger, and IFRS
  • Innovative, passionate in building up an infrastructure from ground-up while working in a collaborative, high-performing, and respectful environment
