Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance Leadership
- Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements for global entities, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Lead audits and liaise with external auditors, regulators, and tax authorities.
- Implement robust internal controls and accounting policies for cross-country operations.
Treasury & Capital Strategy
- Manage global cash flow, liquidity planning, and foreign exchange risk.
- Optimize capital structure and financing strategies (debt/equity).
- Oversee banking relationships and investment portfolios.
Tax Optimization & Risk Management
- Develop tax-efficient structures for international operations (transfer pricing, VAT/GST, WHT).
- Mitigate tax risks through proactive planning and compliance monitoring.
- Lead responses to tax audits and disputes.
M&A Financial Leadership
- Drive financial due diligence for acquisitions/divestitures.
- Lead post-merger integrations (financial systems, reporting harmonization).
- Model synergy capture and ROI for deal evaluations.
Team & Stakeholder Management
- Build and mentor a high-performing global finance team.
- Partner with C-suite on investor relations, board reporting, and strategic initiatives.
- Standardize processes and implement scalable financial systems (ERP/BI tools).
Qualifications
- 15+ years in senior finance roles (Big 4 + corporate experience preferred).
- Industry exposure in securities (brokerage), internet, fintech, or virtual assets
- Cross-border expertise in financial reporting (IFRS/GAAP), tax, and treasury.
- Proven M&A track record from due diligence to integration.
- Technical Mastery:
- Advanced knowledge of consolidation tools (e.g., SAP BPC, Hyperion).
- Tax software (OneSource, Bloomberg Tax) and treasury systems.
- Leadership: Exceptional stakeholder management and team development skills.
- Education: CPA/CA required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
