Job Summary: Application is responsible for the design, implementation, and application support of HKEX's market systems for clearing and settlement. Application makes up several specialized teams that have in-depth technology knowhow to support the on-going maintenance, troubleshooting, enhancements and the development of next generation HKEX platforms.
Job Duties: As IT specialist, you will perform application development, system testing and documentation of mission critical IT systems. You will also handle technical enquires and support testing by external and internal parties.
Responsibilities: - Develop s/w as per program specifications.
- Perform the unit tests and system tests.
- Perform performance testing and performance tuning work.
- Handle technical enquiries, perform investigation and support testing by external and internal parties related to the responsible IT systems
- Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
- At least 2+ years' experience in Java, Microservices and Container application development and support
- Proficiency in Java and SQL, Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Familiar with DevOps life cycles and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Jira, Git, Junit, docker, etc.)
- Experience in cloud technologies or equivalent certification will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
