A reputable Hedgefund is seeking a Legal & Compliance Officer to support its legal and operational functions. This role offers broad exposure across compliance, documentation, and internal governance processes.
Responsibilities
- Support AML processes and manage due diligence for counterparties and service providers
- Coordinate account openings and documentation for investment-related activities
- Assist with the implementation of technology solutions to enhance operational efficiency
- Maintain and organize corporate records and legal documentation
- Prepare materials and take minutes for board and internal committee meetings
- Draft and review various legal documents including agreements, resolutions, and internal policies
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on documentation and procedural matters
- Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Around 1-3 years of relevant experience in legal, compliance, or operational roles within financial services
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with AI tools is a plus
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous
