About the job: The Senior Director - Business Development will be reporting directly to the Country Head in Hong Kong and will help to oversee our local business development practice.
- Point of contact for new local business opportunities
- Process and manage new business requests, working closely with the Managing Director
- Organize initial contacts and follow up with opportunities
- Prepare feasibility studies and propose potential projects to Synpulse management
- Work together with the Synpulse's global sales team in closing deals
- Prepare management reporting and sales forecasts
- Maintain personal network with the financial industry
- Maintain top management relationships with local clients
- Escalation point for client concerns
- Overall responsibility for the success of local projects
- Make sure of suitable team composition and availability
- Management and coaching the team members
About you: - University graduate with degree in computer science, business administration, or equivalent
- Know-how of B2B sales strategies
- Track record in business development and sales to the financial industry in Hong Kong (preferably with Mainland Chinese, local Hong Kong and Taiwanese financial institutions)
- Possess strong network with decision makers in the Hong Kong financial services industry
- Ability to establish business relationships with client's top level management
- Functional knowledge of banking, insurance, or other financial institutions
- Experience with large software implementation projects and direct client exposure an advantage
- Outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Have entrepreneurial spirit
