Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Director of Investment, you will be engaged in the following key responsibilities:
Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and review data for market research and financial analysis across specific industry sectors, with a focus on trend analysis, emerging investment opportunities, and potential risks.
Financial Modelling: Develop financial models to identify potential trends and generate actionable insights that inform strategic investment decisions.
Market Monitoring: Track industry trends, market developments, and regulatory changes that may impact investments, delivering synthesized and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Subject Matter Expertise: Act as a subject matter expert by monitoring and analysing trend developments within specific industry sectors to aid in upcoming strategic planning.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.
Approximately 4-6 years of experience in consulting or research within the financial services sector.
Prior exposure to the energy or chemical industry is a plus.
Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to analyse large datasets for trend identification.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives.
Complete fluency in English and Chinese is essential.
