My client, a leading alternative investment firm is looking for a SAP Business Analyst to lead process enhancement and automation projects within our asset management firm. He/She will connect business requirements with technical solutions, optimizing essential workflows, with an initial focus on Corporate Finance processes and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, document, and refine workflows across finance, operations, and investor relations. Utilizing your expertise in data flows and system architecture, you will pinpoint automation opportunities, create user-friendly interfaces, and implement technical solutions to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborating with both business stakeholders and offshore teams, you will ensure that requirements are clearly articulated and that solutions meet outlined specifications.
- Chart comprehensive data flows across various business functions to uncover opportunities for integration and automation.
- Illustrate data interactions between systems, emphasizing dependencies and possible integration points.
- Record both current and future process states utilizing business process modeling methods.
Requirements
- > 5 years of dedicated experience as a skilled SAP FICO Consultant with extensive experience in SAP ERP (R/3 or S4HANA).
- Experience with SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, and consolidation tools is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of financial data structures and data integration patterns.
- Familiarity with the SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Basic understanding of accounting and fund accounting is a plus.
- Experience in data flow mapping and system integration within financial applications.
- Knowledge of database concepts, data modeling techniques, and SQL.
- Experience with tools like JIRA for tracking and reporting issues is a plus.
- Familiarity with visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.
