Performance Analysis & Attribution


  • Conduct comprehensive performance analyses to identify key drivers of returns

  • Develop methodologies and frameworks for analysing general account performance

  • Create robust attribution models to evaluate the impacts of asset allocation, security selection, and timing factors

Risk Management


  • Address SFC requirements

  • Perform quantitative risk analysis to assess market, credit, liquidity, and other portfolio risk factors

  • Develop ex-ante risk models for forecasting future exposures and ex-post evaluations for understanding historical risk impacts

  • Integrate risk insights into portfolio construction and rebalancing strategies

  • Evaluate investment risks to ensure alignment with general account mandates and fund platform requirements

  • Implement a comprehensive review process for alternative asset classes such as private equity fund managers, including ongoing fund oversight and independent assessment of initial investment proposals.

Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation (SAA & TAA)

  • Design and refine SAA and TAA measurement frameworks to guide long-term strategic decisions and short-term tactical adjustments.

  • Evaluate and monitor asset allocation frameworks under various market scenarios

Ensure alignment with investment objectives and risk tolerances

What you'll need to succeed
  • Extensive experience in the insurance industry, specifically working with general account assets
  • Proven track record in performance & attribution, SAA & TAA measurement, and risk management
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
