We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Delivery Senior Manager for a reputable FS client in Hong Kong to oversee the overall progress of project delivery. This role is crucial for ensuring that all technical aspects of projects are executed effectively while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor the overall progress of project delivery, identifying any technical challenges or blockers that may arise.
Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the project team, ensuring alignment and clarity in communications.
Lead and manage 60-70 initiatives, tracking milestones and user engagement to ensure project success.
Engage in technical project management, working closely with data engineering teams and developers to ensure project objectives are met.
Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring that all parties are informed and engaged.
Implement strategies to streamline project operations, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
Regularly report on project status, progress, and any issues to senior management and senior stakeholders.
Leverage knowledge in data engineering tools and technologies such as DataBricks, Apache Spark, Kafka, and Data APIs to drive project success.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in project management, particularly in technical delivery and data engineering environments.
Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and tools, including DataBricks, Apache Spark, Kafka, and Data APIs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team collaboration and initiative management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex project challenges.
