Position Overview:
We are expanding our Equity Sales Team. The Vice President / Associate in Equity Sales will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing client relationships while providing strategic support to the sales team. This position offers the opportunity to engage deeply in equity sales processes, client servicing, and market operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Onboarding and Account Management:
- Lead the processing of client account opening documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Oversee and streamline the account opening process to enhance client experience.
Client Relationship Management:
- Provide high-level support to sales team members by preparing comprehensive client reports and tailored materials.
- Address client inquiries proactively and escalate complex issues to senior team members for resolution.
Market Analysis and Strategic Insights:
- Conduct in-depth market data analysis to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
- Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports for internal stakeholders.
Sales Events and Client Engagement:
- Engage in sales meetings, client events, and roadshows.
- Develop presentation materials and actively support the sales team during client interactions.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Collaborate with various departments (e.g., trading, compliance, research) to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Maintain and enhance internal databases to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Master or Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field from top tier universities
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience at an international or leading Chinese securities firm.
- Strong passion for equity sales, capital markets, and financial market trends.
- Exceptional attention to detail with robust organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, with excellent communication skills.
