Summary: This new leadership role will lead and drive the end-to-end implementation of a unitfied data platform, faciliating the creation of data governance/ management framework, customizing data dashboard/ report automation functions for internal teams across all businesses throughout the multi-year journey.
The ideal candidate should demonstrates both leadership quality and hands-on capability under data analytic functions. Communication wise, you should be at ease with presenting in English to senior leadership teams, and has proven track records of delivering data initiatives from 0 to 1 in sizable organizations.
Responsibilities: - Define the roadmap, milestone, specifications and governance measures of enterprise-wide data analytic service
- Establish a company-wide data governance framework and associated policies
- Serve as an intenral data evangelist to promote the data best practices to ensure the that data quality, privacy and security mesures are optimized
- Set and enforce standards for master data management, data lineage, and metadata across the organization.
- Lead the integration of various data sources into a unified model, working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage a team of data analysts to provide insights through dashboards and reports, fostering a data-driven culture.
Requirements: - Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related disciplines.
- With a min. 10 years' experience in data analytics, of which a min. 3 years' proven experience in a team leading role
- With practical knowledge in data analysis, BI tool, report automation, data bashboard
- Familiar with data governance best practices, with good knowledge in its key domains - including Data Quality, Data Policies & Standards, Master Data Management, Data Security & Privacy, and Data Lineage & Metadata Management.
- With good knowledge of cloud technology and associated data services (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong leadership and communication skills to engage executives and cross-functional teams.
- With excellent senior stakeholder mangaemnt skills and is at ease to present in front of a group of executive directors
- Strong proficience in English, and good proficience in Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), with strong problem-solving and business acumen.
