Principal Responsibilities
In this role you will:
1. TRCB Program Leadership for CTO DT
• Lead delivery and governance of a high-priority Critical Risk Program with global visibility
• Ensure timely delivery, risk mitigation, and alignment with Group operational resilience and regulatory expectations
• Act as the accountable executive for tracking program progress, reporting into Group forums, and influencing senior stakeholders
• Managing ongoing work drivers as well as funding demand through 2026 and ensuring a sustainable framework
• Manage internal and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of GRAS targets
2. Service Management Excellence & Leadership
• Drive service management KPIs and OKRs within CTO DT in alignment with CTO DT and GCIO priorities
• Own and drive adoption of ITIL-aligned best practices (Incident, Problem, Change, Continuity, and Availability Management) across Asia
• Drive resilience enhancements across regional services, including recovery capabilities, stability improvements, and proactive risk mitigation
• Streamline the service management operating model with a view to have a consistent and standard definition across CTO Data tech service lines
• Drive service management maturity assessment and identify gaps and remediation actions across key service management disciplines like service introduction & knowledge management
3. Stakeholder Engagement
• Represent CTO DT resilience team in global forums, ensuring Data Tech priorities and challenges are clearly articulated and addressed
• Serve as a direct point of escalation for executives, regulators, and auditors in the region
• Strengthen collaboration across business, technology, and risk to build trust and transparency
4. Leadership & Capability Building
• Provide hands-on leadership to distributed service teams across China/Hong Kong and other Asia locations
• Build service management capability and embed a culture of resilience and accountability. Act as a bridge between global leadership expectations and regional delivery execution
Requirements
To be successful you will need:
• 15-18 years' proven experience in program management, service governance, and operational resilience, ideally in the financial services sector
• Deep expertise in ITIL, IT Service Operations Management and risk-aligned service governance frameworks
• Strong knowledge of technology risk and resilience practices, with demonstrable success in risk or regulatory-driven programs
• Extensive stakeholder management experience, including engagement with senior executives, regulators, and auditors
• Ability to lead and influence distributed, multi-cultural teams across Asia
• Familiarity with modern technology landscapes (cloud, data platforms, DevOps) beneficial
