Your new role
  • Develop and maintain the branch's compliance management framework, including daily advisory support, compliance reviews, and training initiatives.
    • Coordinate with regulators and internal/external auditors on compliance-related matters
    • Supervise internal control operations and prepare comprehensive internal control assessment reports
    • Conduct regular compliance reviews and risk assessments across business units
    • Coordinate the formulation, implementation, and updates of internal policies and procedures
  • Monitor regulatory developments and ensure timely updates to internal policies and procedures
  • Provide compliance advisory support to business and operations teams
  • Deliver compliance training and promote awareness across the organisation
  • Investigate and report compliance breaches or suspicious activities as needed


What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4-6+ years of relevant experience in banking compliance, preferably with exposure to internal control functions
  • Strong knowledge of HKMA regulations, AML/CFT guidelines, and general banking compliance standards
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)
