Event Manager - Northeast Asia (6-month contract)
 Your new company  A fast-growing fintech leader is seeking an Event Marketing Manager for a 6-month maternity cover to lead impactful industry events in the Northeast Asia market.   
Your new role  1. Event Planning & Execution  
 - Plan, coordinate, and deliver a range of business events (online and offline) across Northeast Asia (Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan).
- Develop event concepts, themes, and agendas that support company goals.
- Handle full logistics: venue sourcing, vendor management, budgeting, lead generation, and brand promotion.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management  
 - Communicate with clients before, during, and after events to build strong relationships.
- Collaborate with business development and marketing to ensure events drive growth.
- Collect participant feedback to enhance future events.
3. Vendor & Internal Coordination  
 - Source, negotiate, and manage vendors for quality and cost efficiency.
- Work closely with marketing for promotional materials, invitations, and event follow-ups.
- Oversee budgets, contracts, and event evaluations.
4. Team Collaboration & Reporting  
 - Partner with cross-functional teams (Business Development, Operations, Marketing) to meet event goals.
- Provide detailed post-event reports covering attendance, feedback, and ROI analysis.
 
 
What you'll need to succeed - Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, Events, Business, or a related field.
- Open to business travel, at least once a month.
- Over 6 years of hands-on experience in event planning and operations within large organizations.
- Proven track record of managing events across Northeast Asia markets.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities; capable of working independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin are essential, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of Northeast Asia's vendors and current event trends.
- Proficient in MS Office, event management software, and social media platforms.
