We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a
Digital Product Management. The Senior Product Owner uses insights to champion customer preferences and direct product vision. This position focuses on the implementation of a global digital product across CIB, taking regional and market-specific requirements into account. The position holder will operate at the centre of one or more cross-functional teams (Business Analyst, Architects, Designers, etc.) for the delivery of each digital product.

Product Success and Value Proposition: The Product Owner holds accountability for the product's success, ensuring it consistently delivers a compelling value proposition to both customers and users. This involves creating and sustaining the desired business benefits that align with organizational goals
Business Value Delivery and Customer Engagement: The Product Owner is responsible for delivering measurable value to the business. This is achieved by actively engaging with customers to confirm that the development team is constructing the right product that meets customer needs and expectations
Product Vision and Agile Communication: A key responsibility is to define and articulate the product vision, ensuring it is clearly communicated to the Agile software development team. This involves guiding the team in understanding what needs to be built to achieve the product's objectives
Design and Prioritization of User Stories: The Product Owner leads the design of substantial user stories, known as epics, which are subsequently broken down into smaller, manageable stories that form the product backlog. This prioritized list of features is crucial for Agile Teams as they develop technology solutions
Industry Trends and Knowledge Sharing: Staying informed about industry trends is vital. The Product Owner must distil this knowledge and disseminate it to the broader team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and innovation
Product Promotion and Organizational Communication: The Product Owner is tasked with leading efforts to promote and communicate the product's value and benefits across the organization. This involves ensuring that all stakeholders are well-informed and aligned with the product's strategic direction
Customer Interaction and Needs Assessment: Regular interaction with customers is essential to fully understand their needs and requirements. The Product Owner translates these insights into actionable product features and enhancements
Stakeholder Communication and Priority Management: Maintaining open lines of communication with business stakeholders is crucial. The Product Owner is responsible for resolving any conflicting stakeholder priorities to ensure a smooth and efficient product development process
To be successful you will need
Proven Product Ownership/ Project Management experience in a complex global environment within the financial services industry is mandatory
Proven ability in leading technology teams using agile methodology and nurturing talent
Extensive knowledge in Onboarding, Credit and lending, CDD, Servicing within commercial / global banking is desired
Subject matter expertise in CIB front to back journeys and extensive product knowledge of Workflow solution
Proven ability to rapidly develop subject matter expertise in a range of technical and non-technical areas
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical matters effectively with senior leaders and business sponsors
Requirements gathering experience and conducting design activity with a mix of business, operations, and technology-focused products/ projects. As well as experience managing resources using appropriate communication, delegation, and planning skills
Highly motivated self-starter with proven ability to work collaboratively within teams and to deliver on time
