The Role

Analyst, Data Governance, Business Operations

Key Accountabilities

  • Data Analysis
    • Assist team head to rollout data solutions or data initiatives;
    • Perform data analysis and data mining with local/overseas for business/regulatory requirement;
    • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify potential data quality risk to ensure data accuracy of local and overseas business or regulatory requirement.
  • Project Management
    • Support data analysis and data management relevant project;
    • Coordinate regional offices in various data relevant project such as local and overseas enhancement, building big data, data mining, developing regulatory reporting and implementing data quality control, etc.;
    • Proactively resolve the issues from project team.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor degree in Data Science, Information System, Computer Science, or a related field;
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis and data quality control or related roles, preferably in the banking or financial services industry;
  • Working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
  • Strong in data analysis/data mining and data quality control with proven experience in relevant project;
  • Hands-on experience in data analysis and data mining programming/tools (e.g. SQL / python / BI tools) is an advantage;
  • Problem solver with excellent communication skills and ability to formulate and remediate the resolution from complex environment;
  • Proficient in Chinese and English, preferable fluent in Putonghua.
