Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities: - To engage business partners for business exploration
- To receive account opening leads from SME and via online submission
- To contact prospect corporate customers to conduct Know Your Customer (KYC), arrange account opening and explore opportunities to cross sell a full range of SME banking solutions along the account opening process
- To follow-up with customer for fund-in reminders
- To identify customers will high revenue potential and hand-hold them for account and product usage (e.g. how to leverage IDEAL)
- To achieve new account application and cross-selling target
- To liaise and work with internal departments/ RMs/ CSO to facilitate a smooth delivery of customer service and to accomplish assigned tasks
- To comply with the highest regulatory conduct, and compliance standards and practices as defined by internal and external requirements including the compliance with regulations and guidelines on Sanctions, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and so on. Participate in regular or ad hoc UAT and Live testing. May require weekend coverage
- To perform regulated activities, type 1 and 4 specified under the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO)
Requirements: - Degree holder with major in Finance / Business is preferred
- Solid experience in building deposit portfolio, strong cross selling capacity, extensive network of referral parties and strong engagement capability with both internal and external
- Registered RI (Regulated Activities Type 1& 4) with passes in the HKSI Licensing Examination Papers 1, 7 & 8 or equivalent
