Release Management Manager

The Release Management Manager will lead a dedicated team overseeing IT software release processes, with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement. This role plays a critical part in driving the adoption of advanced automation tools and CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient, reliable, and compliant software deployments across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the release function, including planning, scheduling, and executing software releases across enterprise environments.
  • Drive process optimization and automation by integrating CI/CD practices to enhance deployment efficiency and reliability.
  • Ensure governance, audit readiness, and compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align release activities with business and technology objectives.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing release management team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT/software delivery, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on release or deployment management, ideally within financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC governance, test management, and change/release management processes.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevSecOps, or similar.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
