Support / Business Analyst - eFX or eFixed Income - up to 100k
Our client is looking for a candidate with strong experience in eFX (business analysis / support) to join the team in HK.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert Level 2 support for the Treasury and Markets eFX trading platform.
- Ensure maximum production stability and uptime across the application and all connected interfaces.
- Collaborate with internal technology teams and business users to troubleshoot, test, and implement fixes.
- Follow strict escalation protocols during incidents, outages, and critical events.
- Drive end-to-end change management: initiate requests, schedule deployments, and oversee implementation of patches and enhancements.
- Coordinate with Infrastructure, Level 1 support, and external vendors to resolve complex, cross-functional issues.
- Ensure all new releases are accompanied by clear documentation and targeted user training.
- Accurately log incidents and problems in real-time with full detail and context.
- Develop Unix shell/Perl scripts and champion automation initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on application support experience with eFX trading systems (strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in Banking or Foreign Exchange application environments.
- In-depth knowledge of the FIX Protocol and its application in electronic trading.
- Strong Unix Shell and Perl scripting capabilities.
- Working proficiency in Java, HTML, and JavaScript.
- Comprehensive understanding of financial markets instruments and trading workflows.
