Investment Analyst - Greater China Semiconductors & Hardware
A single-CIO hedge fund with a fundamental long-biased strategy and macro overlay is seeking an Investment Analyst to cover the Greater China semiconductor and hardware sectors. This role reports directly to a well-established Chief Investment Officer with over ten years of proven money management experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial modeling on semiconductor and hardware companies across Greater China.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, and macroeconomic factors influencing the sector.
  • Develop and present high-conviction investment ideas to the CIO, supported by clear data and insights.
  • Assist in portfolio monitoring, risk assessment, and idea generation within a concentrated investment framework.
  • Stay current on regulatory developments, supply chain shifts, and technological innovations impacting the sector.
Preferred Background:
  • Prior experience in sell-side equity research or buy-side investment analysis, ideally with coverage in technology or Greater China markets.
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with valuation techniques and financial modeling.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate investment theses clearly.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-focused environment.
  • Degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related discipline; CFA or progress toward designation is advantageous.
