What you can expect
As Migration Advisor, you will work as part of a team to successfully migrate our clients into the new payments processing system. The purpose of this role is to ensure a seamless migration of our clients into the new system with zero or minimal changes at clients end. This position will support the roll out of the new application across APAC. This role will liaise between clients and the banks team across multiple countries.
We are looking for self-driven, fast-learner, flexible and customer-oriented professionals who can drive migration activities and be main point of contact for clients. Your background
- At least 1 year experience in banking industry in a client-facing capacity is a MUST
- Preference to candidates who have prior relevant banking experience in Asia with knowledge of Treasury Management products & implementation of the same (especially multi-geography H2H implementations)
o ISO 20022 XML standard
o Transmission protocols such as SFTP, FTPS and AS2
o Swift FileAct
- Ability to deal effectively with multiple deadline-driven, customer-sensitive projects and tasks across multiple countries.
- The ability to negotiate and adapt to complex, multifunctional relationships within the client environment as well as the bank environment.
- Comfortable with direct client and line partner interaction, with proven client interaction abilities (at both senior decision making and day to day operations levels)
- Capable of understanding new information at a rapid pace and apply to the work
- Ability to present ideas and information effectively in group settings
- Demonstrate initiative, critical thinking, follow-through, flexibility and ability to work with minimum supervision
- Very strong analytical, problem solving, ideation and time management skills
- Expert in Microsoft Office (and/or other analytical software)
- Strong writing, presentation and oral communication skills
- Able to take high level information and drill down to detail level that can be shared and communicated to various audience levels

What you will do
- Manage migration activities of multiple clients across multiple regions simultaneously ensuring a seamless migration from planning, testing, GO LIVE and post GO LIVE
- Coordinate with multiple internal and external teams ensuring that issues and concerns arising from migration are addressed in a timely manner
- Educate and counsel clients on the migration-related activities and manage their expectations
- Perform application setups, submit request for transmission channel, ensure end to end testing is conducted, obtain required client signoffs, stage move to production, and ensure initial live files are processed successfully.
- Conduct migration-related trainings and new application features to clients either virtually or in person
- Coordinate migration activities across multiple workstreams including Sales, Fulfilment, Technical Team, Operations, Vendor, Data Transmission, and Product Management resources.
