A leading global asset management is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support the Asia Finance team. This role is central to the financial operations, reporting, and compliance, offering the opportunity to contribute significantly to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Handle full revenue cycle accounting, including customer billings, payment collection, and reconciliation.
  • Oversee the management and accounting for distributor commissions.
  • Coordinate intercompany cross-charges and transfer pricing with overseas finance colleagues.
  • Prepare and validate accounts payable invoices to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packs for management and head office.
  • Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors during the annual audit.
  • Assist with regulatory submissions (e.g., SFC reports) and corporate tax schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to all group accounting policies and contribute to the internal control framework.
  • Continuously review and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide backup support for team members and assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA/CPA qualification is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within financial services.
  • Strong technical skills in major financial systems (experience with Workday is a plus) and advanced Excel.
  • Proven experience with financial reporting, month-end close, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to building relationships.
  • A proactive mindset with a track record of improving processes and managing tasks effectively.
