As an Application Solution Architect , you will do:-
- Partner with enterprise and solution architects to translate strategic themes into actionable architecture blueprints.
- Contribute to the evolution of application and platform architecture, embracing modern paradigms like microservices, event-driven design, cloud-native infrastructure, and data lakehouse models.
- Champion best practices in software engineering and DevOps, guiding development teams through training, demos, and technical leadership.
- Lead the design of project-specific solutions that align with long-term architectural goals.
- Apply architectural principles and patterns to ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable systems.
As an Application Solution Architect , what you bring:-
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in the insurance sector.
- Strong grasp of the full software development lifecycle and enterprise-scale solution design.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to communicate technical solutions in a business context.
- Deep expertise in architectural patterns such as microservices, distributed systems, and containerization.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure); certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in modern development practices (BDD, TDD, API-first) and agile methodologies like Scrum.
- Advanced coding skills in Java, Node.js, and React.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring practices.
- Trilingual fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
- A growth mindset, resilience under pressure, and a passion for continuous learning.
- Bonus: Familiarity with Generative AI and vibe coding.
