Our client is a leading financial services firm that provides a range of investment solutions and has a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region. They are now seeking an experienced Investment Operations Manager to join the Alternative Investments Operations Team. This role is pivotal in supporting the operations of Direct Asset products, including various forms of Private Credit such as Direct Lending, Infrastructure Debt, Revolving Credit, and Trade Finance.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Oversee investment operations activities with a primary focus on Private Credit.
- Handle transaction execution and trade processing, review legal documents, and ensure compliance with investment restrictions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new products and operational frameworks for complex investment solutions.
- Manage valuation and performance oversight, including NAV reviews and support for hard-to-value assets.
- Oversee liquidity and treasury management, analyzing cash flows and managing credit facilities.
- Contribute to portfolio reporting for investors, tax, and audit support, while ensuring compliance with regulatory changes and financial crime controls.
- Collaborate with service providers and manage investor inquiries and due diligence processes.
- Work on pricing portfolio positions and conducting benchmarking analysis.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- A degree in finance or a related field is required.
- Professional qualifications such as CAIA, CFA, ACCA, CIMA, or ACA are preferred.
- Significant experience with alternative investments, particularly in Private Credit, is essential.
- Familiarity with fund structures and mandates is advantageous.
- Proven experience in managing operational processes and system improvements.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
