Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Smart Contract Security Specialist to safeguard the integrity and resilience of its blockchain ecosystem. In this role, you will be at the forefront of securing smart contracts, decentralized applications, and blockchain protocols-protecting both infrastructure and user assets from evolving threats.



Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive security assessments and code reviews on smart contracts, blockchain protocols, and dApps to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
  • Define and implement best practices for secure smart contract development, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and deliver detailed post-incident reports.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats and attack vectors in the blockchain space, updating internal security policies and controls proactively.
  • Build and maintain automated security tools, frameworks, and CI pipelines for continuous vulnerability detection and threat monitoring.
  • Provide clear documentation and guidance on secure coding, cryptographic protocols, and consensus mechanisms for internal teams.
  • Partner with development teams to strengthen security across all blockchain initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Proven experience in blockchain development with a strong focus on security and smart contract programming.
  • Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Web3 libraries and frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of security best practices, including secure software development, threat modeling, and incident response.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
