A leading Chinese investment bank is hiring Head of Strategic Development Department in Hong Kong.
Requirement:
- Prefer senior candidates who have both strategy experience and business exposure (ideally senior/ head role running a business line, such as IBD, equities, EQD or FICC). Candidates who want to move from a senior business role to strategy role are also welcomed.
- Experience working for a Chinese financial institution is required.
Responsibilities:
• Formulate the Company's overall development strategy plan based on changes in the external environment and the company's operating conditions
• Assist the senior management in driving the implementation and execution of the strategic plan in accordance with the Companys development directions
• Perform independently the strategic performance management duties including but not limited to setting up, tracking, revising, evaluating company and department KPIs
• Enhance the organizational structure, management processes, and synergy among the departments
• Perform strategic analysis and propose recommendations to the senior management in relation to special projects, provide expert analysis and opinions for management to make strategic decisions
• Research and evaluate inorganic growth opportunities and provide recommendations to the senior management, conduct evaluation and provide professional advice on the changes on the product lines and business expansion plans
• Supervision of the management office functions, including but not limited to provide daily administration support to the CEO; facilitate management meetings hosted by the CEO, collect meeting materials, prepare meeting minutes and resolutions; coordinate with front and back office divisions to ensure the action items designated by the management are adequately followed-up; plan, coordinate and policy maintenance of the file management of the company; maintain smooth communication and collaboration with other departments and subsidiaries of Headquarter/parent company.
