About the Company
Our client is a global financial institution with a strong presence in Asia.This position sits within the Operations Department and focuses on clearing and deposit services. You will supervise a small team, ensure operational excellence, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee deposit operations, including early termination, funding control, and confirmations.
- Ensure structured deposits comply with Deposit Protection Rules and maintain accurate customer records.
- Support account management activities such as account opening, closing, and updates.
- Provide coaching and performance reviews for team members.
- Participate in system projects, UAT testing, and other operational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Tertiary education preferred; strong experience will be considered.
- Minimum 8 years of deposit operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of AML and anti-terrorism compliance checks.
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin; Japanese is a plus.
