Job Purpose:
We are seeking for a skillful and experienced individual to join our Business Banking Department as a Manager, Business Coach & Support. You will be responsible for providing coaching and supporting to the business banking sales staff with focus on sales techniques, operation and compliance aspects. You will play a crucial role in training, guiding and empowering the business banking sales team to effectively promote our business banking products and services while adhering to regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for frontline sales staff, focusing on sales techniques, products knowledge and customer engagement strategies.
• Coach and mentor sales team members on effective sales practices, relationship building and consultative selling approaches so as to helping them to develop their skills, overcome challenges and achieve optimal performance.
• Accompany sales staff on joint appointments with SME customers to provide real-time support and guidance. Assist in identifying and understanding the specific needs and pain points of SME customers and provide insights and recommendations for tailored solutions.
• Ensure that the frontline sales staff are well-versed in regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to business banking products and services.
• Collaborate with sales management to implement effective business banking strategies, policies and procedures that align with the bank's goals and objectives.
• Build strong relationship with the frontline sales staff, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for their sales and operation related inquiries.
• Provide guidance and support to sales staff in managing customer relationships including prospecting, onboarding and maintaining long-term relationships with SME customers for driving the sales growth and success of our organization.
• Establish key performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of the sales coaching and training programs.
Incumbent Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience with min. 5-8 years in business banking with a strong understanding of business banking products, sales techniques and regulatory requirements.
• Professional licensing qualifications on HKSI Papers 1, 7 & 8 and IIQE Papers 1, 2 and 3.
• Excellent coaching, training and mentoring skills with the ability to effectively transfer knowledge and motivate sales staff.
• Strong understanding of compliance standards and regulations in the banking industry particularly related to business banking.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to access sales performance data and identify areas for improvement.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi task effectively.
• A customer-centric mindset with passion for delivering exceptional service and driving sales success.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communications skills
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
