Security Java Developer - Cybersecurity Platforms | 12-Month Contract (Singapore)
Your new company You'll be joining a leading global financial institution with a strong presence in Singapore, renowned for its commitment to cybersecurity, innovation, and operational excellence. The firm's Enterprise Security Platforms team plays a critical role in protecting data, systems, and infrastructure across institutional and wealth management businesses.
Your new role As a Security Java Developer, you will be part of the global Security Development team within the Cyber Data Risk & Resilience department. You'll contribute to building and enhancing core security controls that safeguard the firm's technology and client data.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing secure applications based on business requirements
- Enhancing existing security solutions and resolving production issues
- Creating automated tests and CI/CD pipelines
- Documenting technical solutions and supporting operational teams
- Enforcing SDLC best practices and contributing to architectural reviews
- Researching and presenting new technologies for continuous improvement
What you'll need to succeed - 3-5 years of experience in Java/J2EE development (open to more)
- Strong knowledge of Spring Framework and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, TeamCity)
- Experience with relational databases (SQL, JDBC, stored procedures)
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Shell) and basic Linux
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and security concepts (IAM, DLP, Crypto)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
