Your new role entails: - Partner with Private Wealth Management business and control partners (Compliance, Legal) to ensure regulatory controls and governance frameworks are effectively implemented.
- Perform daily supervisory and trade-based surveillance reviews to ensure adherence to firm policies and procedures.
- Identify internal breaches or control weaknesses, conduct investigations, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare documentation to report and escalate issues and exceptions to senior management.
- Oversee and manage outsourced surveillance teams to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
What you'll need to succeed: - Minimum 2+ years of experience in banking or project management, preferably in risk or compliance functions.
- Strong proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of programming (macros/Python) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial products such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and banking products is advantageous.
