Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based financial applications with a focus on performance and reliability.
- Optimize application performance and stability to handle high volumes of transactions.
- Write unit tests and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trading systems and APIs.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance trading capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on financial systems.
- Strong understanding of core Java concepts, including concurrency and performance optimization.
- Proficient in designing and implementing APIs
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and in-memory data grids (e.g., Redis).
- Knowledge of financial instruments, markets, and trading strategies is a significant advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-based trading solutions (AWS, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (JavaScript, Angular, React) for developing trading interfaces.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
