About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Junior Broker to join a dynamic desk in Hong Kong. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to begin a career in financial services, providing hands-on training and exposure to global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the desk to ensure smooth operations and timely trade execution.
Input trades accurately into internal systems and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
Monitor markets, follow financial news, and identify trading opportunities.
Maintain up-to-date trade records and update market data on electronic platforms.
Provide real-time quotes and assist brokers and traders with daily trade details.
Collaborate on projects and contribute to process improvements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through phone, messaging, and face-to-face interactions.
Assist with onboarding new clients and developing business opportunities.
What Our Client is Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for networking and relationship-building.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and an interest in markets and economic trends.
Fluency in English and Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with automation tools such as VBA, R, or Python.
Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment and contributing to team success.
