About the Role
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Onboarding Administrator to join our fiduciary services team. This role is central to ensuring a seamless and compliant client onboarding experience, with a strong emphasis on Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screening.
The successful candidate will work closely with compliance, client relationship managers, and operational teams to support the firm's commitment to regulatory standards and business excellence.
What You'll Be Doing
• Carry out KYC due diligence on new and existing clients, including companies, trusts, and private individuals.
• Review and validate client documentation to ensure it meets internal policy and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and screening using internal systems and third-party databases (e.g., sanctions, PEP, adverse media).
• Identify and escalate potential red flags to the Compliance team in line with risk appetite.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within onboarding and compliance systems.
• Assist with periodic reviews of existing client files, ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Support the onboarding workflow by liaising with relationship managers, clients, and external advisers to collect required documents and information.
• Stay informed of changes in KYC/AML regulations and contribute to continuous improvement of onboarding processes.
• Prepare reports and participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualification & Experience
• 2-4 years of compliance experience, preferably within the Latin American and Asian regions.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Demonstrated experience in client onboarding, KYC, AML, or compliance within financial services, fiduciary, or professional services.
• Strong knowledge of AML/KYC regulations and best practices.
• Familiarity with fiduciary structures, trusts, and corporate entities.
• Experience with regulatory environments such as Cayman, BVI or other offshore jurisdictions.
• Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using compliance screening tools/databases.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively.
• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
