Compliance, Asset Management
Your new role
- Oversee compliance activities for the Hong Kong office of a rapidly expanding asset management firm.
- Serve as the Manager-in-Charge (MIC) for Compliance, ensuring regulatory accountability
- Support the launch and ongoing administration of Hong Kong-domiciled investment funds.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams (Investment, Product, Risk, Finance, Compliance) and external stakeholders (Custodians, Fund Administrators) to monitor fund portfolios.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal policies, procedures, and controls to ensure alignment with current statutory and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular reviews of compliance issues related to operational and investment activities
- Maintain and refine the AML and compliance framework, including policies, guidelines, and procedures, in accordance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Partner with compliance consultants to facilitate SFC licencing, monitor ongoing professional training, and manage other regulatory processes.
- Perform KYC due diligence, client background checks, and ongoing AML transaction monitoring
- Organise and deliver training sessions on compliance and AML topics
- Coordinate with external auditors and accountants to support audit and financial reporting requirements
- Assist with ad-hoc projects focused on quality assurance and compliance enhancement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Require 3-4+ years of experience in compliance.
- Familiar with SFC 1,4,9 licences.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English is a must.
