Daytime Dealer/Trader-Securities WM department

Key Responsibilities

• Execute client account transactions, including the buying and selling of financial products such as equities and bonds, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor market dynamics, provide real-time trading support, and assist clients in optimizing their investment portfolios.
• Collaborate with front-office teams to respond to client inquiries, handle order routing, and manage settlement matters.
• Maintain trading systems to ensure data integrity and generate relevant reports to support risk management and compliance reviews.
• Adhere to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) regulations and internal compliance policies, ensuring all operations meet AML and KYC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of trading experience in a brokerage firm; holding SFC Type 1 and Type 2 licenses is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of Hong Kong and international financial markets, with proficiency in trading platforms.
• Strong risk awareness, analytical skills, and ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in both English and Chinese (proficiency in Mandarin is preferred).
• Demonstrated employment stability with no significant history of frequent job changes.
