Role Overview We are seeking a
Pre-Sales Associate to join our
Post Trade solution team within Broadridge's
Capital Markets in Asia Pacific, based in
Hong Kong. As part of the International
Solutions Sales Team, you will play a key role in driving growth for our International Post Trade product and service offerings across multiple asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Listed Derivatives, FX). Our solutions support clients across the post-trade lifecycle - clearing, settlement, and position management - helping them tackle complex operational and regulatory challenges.
In this role, you will act as a consultative solutions specialist, partnering closely with Sales, Product, and Technology to understand client needs, design and demonstrate tailored solutions, and support the full sales lifecycle from qualification through to RFP/RFI and closing.
Key Responsibilities - Engage with clients, prospects, partners, and industry participants to understand their post-trade needs and articulate how Broadridge's Capital Markets solutions deliver value.
- Prepare and deliver compelling business and technically oriented product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops tailored to specific client use cases.
- Develop and maintain subject-matter expertise across the Capital Markets ecosystem, with comprehensive understanding of at least two of the following:
- Post trade: Clearing, Settlement, Multi-Asset Classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Listed Derivatives, FX)
- Awareness of related domains such as Securities Financing, Asset Servicing, Regulatory Trade & Transaction Reporting, and Reconciliations.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Strategy, Marketing, and other leaders to translate client requirements into solution designs, positioning, and sales support materials (presentations, demos, collateral).
- Lead and support the sales support process, including:
- Creating sales questionnaires and discovery templates to collect and structure client requirements and business drivers.
- Contributing SME responses for RFPs/RFIs and other formal client requests.
- Partner with Sales Directors to identify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities, establishing domain credibility and best-practice guidance with senior client stakeholders.
- Participate in business development activities-including client meetings, seminars, trade shows, and industry events-and provide ongoing market feedback on trends, competitors, and new opportunities.
Your Profile - Significant financial services / capital markets experience, with strong exposure to:
- Clearing and Settlement and broader Post Trade processing.
- Experience in or with financial institutions or financial technology providers, preferably within Asia Pacific.
- Experience supporting or working closely with Sales, Account Management, Product, and Technology teams in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Awareness of SaaS/cloud capabilities (e.g., IBM, AWS) and their application in financial services is preferred.
- Pre-Sales and/or Business Development experience in financial services technology is strongly preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio; able to produce clear, client-ready materials.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to deliver independent, senior-level client presentations.
- Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain strong relationships and represent Broadridge credibly at a senior level, both internally and externally.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines; self-starter who can thrive in a matrix structure across regions and functions.
- Technically capable of defining, configuring, and demonstrating solutions in a pre-sales context.
- Ability to travel as required for client meetings, sales cycles, and industry events.
- Language skills: Cantonese and Mandarin (oral and written) are an advantage.
