They are seeking an accomplished Senior Lead for Regulatory Technology & Automation to architect and own the core systems that ensure market integrity across their global operations. This is a rare, high-impact role for a seasoned developer to build from the ground up within a firm that provides the resources of a giant and the agile, respectful culture of a smaller company.
Your Mission:
You will be the technical authority and visionary for the firm's regulatory technology stack, ensuring robustness and innovation across their diverse portfolios in APAC and Europe.
- Lead & Architect: Design, develop, and own the strategic direction for all critical regulatory reporting systems and controls, setting the technical standard for the team.
- Automate & Innovate: Spearhead the adoption of cutting-edge solutions, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to transform and future-proof compliance processes.
- Solve Complex Problems: Navigate the global regulatory landscape, anticipating risks and ensuring systems are robust, scalable, and ahead of requirements.
- Collaborate & Influence: Partner with world-class quantitative researchers, traders, and compliance teams to elevate the technological capabilities of the entire function.
- Ensure Excellence: Establish and govern rigorous data validation and quality assurance frameworks to guarantee the highest levels of accuracy and reliability.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience as a polyglot developer, with proficiency in Python and deep experience with SQL and database design.
- A proven builder with a track record of designing and delivering complex frameworks and tools from scratch .
- Hands-on experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere).
- A solid understanding of financial derivative products and the environments they trade in.
- Previous tech lead or management experience is highly valued , though individual contributors with a strong leadership mindset are also encouraged to apply.
- Background in regulatory or compliance technology is a significant plus , but not a strict requirement for the right candidate.
- A strategic, analytical mindset with a passion for deconstructing and solving the most complex technical challenges.
