We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a
Strategic Content Creator. Principal Responsibilities In this role you will: Accountabilities for Business, Customers and Stakeholders - Work with stakeholders across the business and channel experts to publish and craft insight-driven, strategically relevant, and on-brand content tailored for use across Group channels
- Work with the social media team to manage the publishing of multimedia and written assets across our suite of social media platforms and external channels
- Develop treatments for stories within the bank, coming up with ideas for how best to present our narratives to the world (photography, written, video, graphics)
- Collaborate on video shoots with customers, colleagues, and senior executives
- Help co-ordinate efforts between the Hong Kong communications team and Group External Communications
- Work with procurement, legal, cyber security, and risk teams, being prepared to own and manage risk where necessary
Leadership & Teamwork - Ability to assist on content production projects in collaboration with the Head of Creative & Production, and collaborate with other teams to achieve the best outcomes
- Ability to instil understanding and respect for HSBC's strategy, identity, and values in team members
- Take responsibility for publishing our communications content to hit deadlines and enhance moments that matter
- Develop constructive working relationships with subject matter experts across the business
- Promote the sharing of knowledge and best practices across the Group
- Personally demonstrate strong adherence to HSBC's values
To be successful you will need: - Good experience in using content creation tools such as Canva/Adobe Express
- Experience in managing a content schedule and online publishing tools
- An excellent judge of what makes content successful across the social media landscape
- Familiar with the latest techniques and trends in social media and the opportunities they could present for a company like HSBC
- A proven track record of writing and structuring short social media posts in a channel-appropriate style
- Attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience in still and motion graphics design would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese. Mandarin would be an advantage
