Public Policy Manager - Global Technology Firm

A great opportunity to join a leading US technology giant as a Public Policy Manager to support on strategy planning, internal advisory and external engagement. Experienced candidates with relevant public affairs experience in US-China geopolitical issues are welcome. Understanding of policy landscape in China, the technology industry and AI policy would be beneficial.

Salary: HKD80000 - HKD100000 per month

Responsibilities

- Support on public policy strategies and engagement implementation in China, ensuring alignment with the company's global and regional objectives

- Advise management on public policy developments in China and on US-China geopolitical issues

- Conduct policy research, analysis related to China and draft policy briefing, report and readout in relation to China policy

- Cross-functional collaboration including partnering with other teams across Legal, Communications, Product, Operations, Sales, AI and Supply China to coordinate policy approaches and advocacy

- Monitor regulatory and policy trends and emerging issues across the digital economy and supply chain in China and work with regional teams to develop solutions

Qualifications

- At least 7 years of experience in public policy, regulatory affairs, law, governmen, technology or related fields

- Solid understanding of the policy landscape in China and US-China geopolitics

- Proven experience developing and implementing policy strategies at scale, balancing technological advancement and regulatory requirements

- Proven track record of cross functional team collaboration

- Ability to communicate and present effectively in Chinese and English

- Track record of maintaining high ethical standards, professionalism

- Experience in digital technology policy in a multinational environment

- Knowledge of tech and AI policy
